Avery likes to pick just the heads of the flowers and then shred them into little pieces, possibly eating some of the petals if she can. 

Once, this area was a vetetable garden, but now it's for wildflowers (AKA: weeds).

Avery has become such a bibliophile that she has a new word - "buch" (pronounced with a heavy German accent). 

Sometimes, she can even convince Aiden to read to her, but not often. He'd rather have one of us read, or read to himself.
